Drive through the Sinai Desert to visit St. Catherine’s Monastery in the city of the same name. You start early in the morning to escape the desert heat of the afternoon. Enjoy a 130-minute drive through extremely dry nature in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
Upon arrival at St. Catherine’s Monastery you will marvel at the ancient Mount Sinai and follow in the footsteps of Moses climbing Mount Sinai and being told the 10 Commandments. Among the treasures of the monastery is a library filled with ancient manuscripts and icons from the Vatican. You will also visit the 6th century church in Burning Bush.
Afterwards proceed to Dahab City in the Red Sea Flower City for sightseeing and shopping. You have a chance to stock up on some tourist souvenirs. Watch windsurfers from the shore and soak up the colourful atmosphere of a unique Bedouin fishing village. After a local lunch Relax at the restaurant and enjoy a transfer back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
