The whole process was easy with good communication from wonderwings, easy pick up at gate, whole process so smooth. My pilot was excellent - he knew I was nervous and kept trying to make me laugh and checked in on me every 5 mins on the flight - it really helped ease my worries. I will definitely be back again to try the longer 30min flight if I get the chance!

I was worried at first because they don’t allow selfie sticks, but they kindly let me bring my action camera as long as I didn’t extend the stick. They also delivered the edited video exactly after 10 days, which felt very professional and trustworthy. Even though I changed my schedule that day, they still picked me up right on time and supported me immediately without any problems. Overall, they were incredibly helpful and friendly. I honestly have nothing to complain about!

Jasper James FajunioPhilippines THIS IS THE BEST SIDE QUEST EVER! Flying a microlight over the pyramids was honestly one of the craziest experiences I’ve ever had while traveling. Seeing the pyramids from above doesn’t even feel real at first. Pilot Fouda made me feel safe the whole time and explained everything clearly before takeoff. What surprised me most was how peaceful it felt once we were up in the air. You get this view of the desert, the city, and the pyramids all at once. Photos and videos don’t fully capture how surreal everything looks from above. Definitely not the cheapest activity in Cairo, but for me it was 100% worth it and easily one of the highlights of my Egypt trip. If you’re considering it, just do it! You’ll probably never experience anything like it again. I highly recommend!

JasminaSlovenia Tge COOLEST thing ever!!! Such a special activity. To see the GEM and the pyramids from bird-side perspective. You can also extend your flight to include the Nile! Located right between the New gate and the first stop on the Promenade. You can take the shuttle green or yellow bus to the promenade and walk back to the heliport tent. Or you can take a private cart ride directly there. Entry ticket to the pyramids is not included. You can also book a private transfer and guide tour and just inform them that you have an extra activity booked with Wonder Wings. You have enough time to do it all.

From booking to the actual flight, the team was very kind and helpful through WhatsApp. When strong winds made flying impossible on our original date, they kindly helped us reschedule. On the day, they even picked us up at the Great Gate, and after a quick safety briefing, we were ready to fly. With earplugs provided, noise wasn’t an issue at all — just pure excitement! Flying over the Giza pyramids and seeing the GEM from the sky felt like becoming an eagle in Assassin’s Creed. They also filmed our flight with a wing-mounted camera and later sent us an edited video by email or WhatsApp, which made the experience even more special. If you visit Egypt, this is a must-do activity. Highly recommended!
